About Me
Bradley J. Irish is an associate professor of English at Arizona State University, where he has taught since 2012. Born in New Hampshire and raised in Maine, he did his undergraduate studies at Boston University, before getting his PhD in English Literature at The University of Texas at Austin, with a focus on English Renaissance literature and culture.
On the day before his 40th birthday, he discovered that he is both autistic and has ADHD; this revelation radically reshaped his academic career, as he now works to support neurodivergent people in Higher Ed and researches neurodivergence in the literary and historical past.

He lives in a small Arizona town with his high school sweetheart Jenny Irish (who also teaches at ASU), alongside their Boston Terrier Penelope and their blue-tongued skink Lucretia.
